Kim Cattrall
Kim Victoria
Cattrall, born 21 August 1956 is a Canadian actress from British Columbia. She
is most famous for her role in the film Sex and the City's Samantha Jones
(1998-2004), where she was nominated for five Emmy Awards as well as four
Golden Globe Award nominations. In 2002, she also won the Golden Globe Award
for Best Supporting Artistress. In the films Sex and the City (2008) and Sex
and the City 2 (2010), she reprised the character. Cattrall's first film
appearance was in Rosebud (1975), and she was later cast in several roles on
television. The 1980s saw she gained to fame thanks to films like Ticket to
Heaven (1981), Police Academy (1984) and Hold-Up (1985). She was also in City
Limits (1985), Big Trouble in Little China(86), Mannequin (1987), Masquerade
(1888), Midnight Crossing (1988) and The Return of the Musketeers (1989).
Tribute (1980), Porky's(1981), Turk 182 (85), and Baby Geniuses(1999) were a
few of her appearances. Other credits include The Bonfire of the Vanities
(1990), Star Trek VI The Undiscovered Country (91), Split Second (1992), Above
Suspicion (95) and 15 Minutes (192001).
