Piper Perabo
Piper Perabo was nominated for the
Golden Globes for her work as a stage, TV, and film actress. Her birthplace was
in Dallas, Texas and raised in New Jersey. She was in the film the breakout
role of Coyote Ugly in the year 2000. Since then, she's been seen in such films
as Christopher Nolan's "The Prestige" featuring Hugh Jackman and
Christian Bale, "Because I Said So" with Diane Keaton and "First
Snow" with Guy Pearce, "Cheaper by the Dozen" films starring
Steve Martin, "Imagine Me and"Imagine Me & You" with
Lena Heady and Matthew Goode and the crime thriller "10th and Wolf"
featuring an ensemble cast, which included James Marsden and Dennis Hopper.
Perabo starred alongside Bruce Willis, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Emily Blunt and
Jeff Daniels in Rian Johnson's sci-fi action flick "Looper.". Perabo
was Annie Walker on USA Network's spy drama "Covert Affairs" for five
seasons. After that, Perabo starred as Annie Walker in USA Network's spy
thriller "Covert Affairs." You can also stream "Turn Up
Charlie" on Netflix with IdrisElba. She made her Broadway debut in Neil
LaBute's controversial play "Reasons to be Pretty", which was
nominated for the Tony Award for the Best Play. Perabo is also an activist, as
well as her involvement on screen and stage. Perabo is a Voice for the
International Rescue Committee, raising awareness about the refugee crisis
around the world and supporting those suffering from religious persecution or
conflict, as well as oppression by the state. Piper lives in Los Angeles and
New York City. She graduated from Toms River (NJ) High School North class of
1994. While at high school, she performed in all four of the school's musicals.
In her senior year, she played Katie in Me in St. Louis, junior year she was
Cousin Fan and Lady Brighton in Mame; the sophomore year was Lady Brighton and
Lady Brighton respectively. In her freshman year, she was a choreographer and
dancer in How to Succeed In Business Without Really Trying. She was high school
president of the National Honor Society, and she was also the editor for
Polaris, the school's literary magazine. She was also a Marinerettes dancer at
high school football games.
