Danielle Riley Keough. [2] She was born in Santa Monica to Danny Keough and
Lisa Marie Presley. She is the granddaughter of Elvis Presley, actress, and
singer. Keough was born in Hawaii by her father, as well as living in Los
Angeles by her mother. She also lived in California and Tennessee together with
her mother. Keough began modeling when she was fifteen. Her appearances at
Dolce & Gabbana fashion shows and Christian Dior's cover shoots are
just one of her many highlights. In her 20s, Keough was cast in the role of a
support in The Runaways (2010) as Marie Currie. Following The Good Doctor
(2011), she starred in Jack & Diane (2012). After that, she was cast as
Magic Mike (2012), she was a minor character in Steven Soderbergh’s comedy film
Magic Mike (2012). In 2012, Keough appeared in Yellow and Kiss of the Damned.
She was then in the action movie Mad Max: Fury Road (2015). It was the fourth
installment of the Mad Max series. In 2016, Keough had her breakthrough role as
a law student-turned-escort in the first season of the anthology series The
Girlfriend Experience, executive-produced by Soderbergh and based on his 2009
film of the same name. Her performance was highly praised and received
nominations for the Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a
TV Limited Series or Motion Picture. Keough's subsequent performance as a
young, brash woman in the drama American Honey (2017) earned more praise and an
Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Supporting Female. The following
year, Keough was in the apocalyptic horror film It Comes at Night (2017), and
reunited with Soderbergh to play a role in the heist film Logan Lucky. This was
followed by appearances in a range of horror and thriller films in 2018
including Lars von Trier’s The House That Jack Built and the neonoir Under the
Silver Lake. Keough was the lead in The Lodge, a psychological horror movie.
Zola is Keough's comedy-drama sequel. Keough plays the character Sandy
Harrison, Netflix's 2020 release The Devil All the Time.
