Priyanka Chopra Biography

Priyanka was born in Jamshedpur (India) on July 18 1982. Chopra received the title of Miss India in her high school and then she was awarded Miss World 2000. On the heels of that international victory, Chopra turned her sights at the world of film and quickly became a major star within the Bollywood system. American television made her famous with Quantico, the FBI drama that aired from 2015-2018. The actress also made headlines due to her wedding to Nick Jonas in December 2018. In 2003, she starred in her first Bollywood film, The Hero: Love Story of a Spy. That same year she appeared in the film Andaaz. This began a lengthy string of filmsthat included Plan, Kismat, Asambhav, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and Aitrazz -- which is incredibly and all of them released in 2004. While most of these films underperformed at the box theater, Chopra found success with the romantic comedy Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. Chopra at the age of 20 was the first actress to make her film debut in Thamizhan in 2002. She followed that year with Jeet born to Win. Chopra admitted that she did not like her debut. "I was hoping it would end when I had finished it!" "I did not know the situation." Nick Jonas, actress and singer-actor, made public their relationship during the summer of 2018. The couple announced their engagement in July. Jonas is reported to propose on Chopra's 36th birthday. The couple got married at an extravagant, multi-day affair that began on December 1st, 2018.
